Kandice has been defining corporate strategy, product design and brand culture for the world’s top companies including Intel, CBS, Paramount, Samsung and numerous startups. She has been a VC, serial entrepreneur, producer and designer in the industries of tech, entertainment, gaming, travel and fashion and has worked on both sides of the deal table for Intel, Paramount, Macy’s and Universal. As a consummate market researcher and startup strategist, with a keen knowledge of make to buy branding, Kandice’s technical, business and creative talents have positioned her to oversee the production of web, film, video game, mobile app and software projects. Cota was a pioneer of interactive programming and peer to peer programming. Kandice co-hosts the show Kandi & Josh: Gamechangers and has spoken at numerous events in the entertainment, tech and venture space including Intel & MTV’s Plugged In, Comdex, Tech Venture Summit and was the winner of Harvard’s Fast Pitch Challenge. Kandice received her MBA from University of South Carolina and her BFA from University of Michigan.
For over ten years Josh has helped global brands engage consumers and empower employees through design, strategy, and marketing programs. He applies a cross-disciplinary expertise in visual communication, user experience, and strategic services to create long-term growth. Today his consultancy Great Monday helps clients and agencies build meaningful brands by designing tools and programs that promote behavior change. He regularly speaks, writes, and leads workshops on brand and business and co-hosts the show Kandi & Josh: Gamechangers.
Previous clients include HP, Microsoft, Electronic Arts, Herman Miller, Patagonia, Barclays, Yahoo, Sun Microsystems, and Dwell magazine. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Psychology from Tufts University, and a degree in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University.
