Birgit H. Jevnaker

Birgit Jevnaker is an Associate professor of Innovation and Economic Organization Department of BI Norwegian School of Management. Interested in design, innovation, and organizing, she explores design and co-creation in multiple media in and across organizations. She has initiated and taught innovation and strategic design courses, in management as well as industrial design education and arts schools. Jevnaker has also developed and is responsible for an awarded leadership program for executives. Her articles are published in international journals (Design Management Review, Design Studies, the Design Journal, Design Issues) and in research-based books (Dynamic Strategic Resources; Managing Boundaries in Organizations; Design Integration, forthcoming) and coedited Management of Design Alliances. Member of research advisory board of DMI, Boston. Lives in Oslo.
