Mike Smith has been developing websites since 1996 and is currently webmaster for The Association of Former Students of Texas A&M. AggieNetwork.com has over 115,000 members within the overall Texas A&M former student population of 350,000+. In addition to the website, he helps develop the internet communications strategies to support Texas A&M alumni. Prior to his work at The Association, he worked on StandardCall.com, a leader in call measurement and monitoring services for yellow pages and directory publishers.

He has led design and development for two web companies and specializes in database driven websites, fundraising, and web operations management and strategy. Experience includes end-user UI; APIs; integration of Windows services and console applications; configuring web, data, and file servers; database design.

He also served as an officer in the United States Navy for six years as an analyst and briefer.
