Vlad Didenko is an IT Architect at GETCO. He first joined GETCO in 2003 and has held various IT Operations and Automation roles within the company since that time.
At GETCO Vlad initiated and designed the DB Relay system, an open source project built around the NGiNX web server platform that provides an HTTP/JSON interface to a variety of database servers. It enables database access without drivers and web application development without middleware. The DB Relay system is designed for operational efficiency and ease of maintenance. DB Relay is hosted at www.dbrelay.com and will be presented to the public for the first time at OSCON 2010.
GETCO is a global electronic trading and technology firm focused on helping investors efficiently transfer risk. The firm’s primary business, electronic market making and liquidity provision, involves both buying and selling securities to provide two-sided markets on exchanges around the world.
Prior to GETCO, Vlad was an HP OpenView Solutions Architect at Hewlett-Packard. Previously, he was a System Administrator Consultant.
Vlad is a graduate of the State University at Novosibirsk, Russia.
