KAKUL SRIVASTAVA GENERAL MANAGER OF FLICKR AT YAHOO! INC.

Kakul Srivastava is the General Manager of Product Management of Flickr at Yahoo!. Kakul oversees the product and business operations for one of the world’s largest and most popular photo sharing communities with 30 million members who have shared more than 2.5 billion photos. She has been part of the Flickr team since the company’s acquisition by Yahoo! in the spring of 2005, helping Flickr grow its membership more than 70 times larger during that span. It is now ranked among the top photo sites globally and is available in eight languages.

Prior to joining Yahoo!, Kakul helped build Adobe’s consumer digital imaging business where she was a part of launching the Adobe Photoshop Album product line. Before landing in Silicon Valley, Kakul developed a variety of bio-polymer products for heart disease treatments.

Kakul holds a BSME from MIT and an MBA from the University California, Berkeley. She currently lives in San Francisco with her husband and 18 month old son.
