Web 2.0 applications are business critical, often generating a major portion of the revenues for several companies. This talk will focus on web Application Delivery Controllers that can yield lightning fast response times, protect against application attacks, accommodate sudden traffic spikes and optimize the infrastructure to support a rapidly growing user base all without a corresponding explosive growth of servers and bandwidth. These web Application Delivery Controllers combine massive scalability and sophisticated functionality with application intelligence to provide best of both worlds in terms of functionality / security and performance. While it has been argued that security is traded off against performance, in this talk you will learn how the same system can strengthen availability and security without losing legitimate user transactions, and at the same time boost top line with accelerated performance and improve the bottom line by scaling and optimizing server and network capacities.
