David Binetti has a deep background in e-government, having co-founded USA.gov, the official web portal of the United States Government and USA Today’s “Hot Site of the Year” for 2000. His website in 1995 was one of the first to provide online access to campaign finance documents, and was cited by the Wall Street Journal as one of the best political websites in California. He was named to Federal Computer Week’s “Fed-100” in 2001 and is the recipient of the “Hammer Award” for Reinvention of Government. He is currently the CEO and co-founder of Votizen, the network of registered voters that seeks to make civic participation simpler and more meaningful.
