Most industry discussion involving mobile is from a marketing point of view, with a short-term, campaign focus. In this session, The mobile product leaders from Apartments.com and Cars.com share their strategy, experiences and vision for driving revenue in the mobile channel.

From infrastructure, to product strategy, to sales messages we will discuss how product and brand managers can navigate the mobile minefield, drawing from past successes and failures.

Tim Grace is responsible for strategy and development of all consumer-facing product initiatives at Apartments.com. In addition to crafting an industry-leading vertical search product and driving search engine optimization efforts for Apartments.com, Tim leads the organization’s mobile practice which encompasses SMS, web and native app product extensions.

Prior to joining Apartments.com, Tim managed consumer marketing and insight initiatives at Cars.com and spent several years at a research consultancy advising brands on market positioning, communications strategy and creative development.

Nick Fotis is Product Manager for mobile at Cars.com. In addition to managing mobile, Nick launched Cars.com’s consumer finance channel, managed for sale by owner products and served in the channel management group. Before joining Cars.com, Nick worked for several small brand consultancies in Chicago. He has his MBA from DePaul University and is a proud graduate of Penn State.
