Developers know that sharing a common code base is key to an application’s maintenance and extensibility, especially when time and resources are limited. What many may not know is that much of the same common javascript code base can be leveraged across all browsers with only a need to build out very minimal browser-specific interfaces.
Whether you’re an existing addon developer looking to port to other browsers or you’re just getting started, this session will help highlight the common problems encountered and best practices for making extensions that work across browsers.
