For years we architected software as a highly scalable distributed model. We moved the right parts of the architecture to the right parts of our network and onto the right kinds of hardware. Today’s web2 and RIA architectures allow us to design and build the right user experience, for the right person, on the right device and in the right location, from the web to the desktop. The idea of software as a Service (Saas) has now really become Software And a Service (SAas).
