In this session, we will step thru a series of demonstrations where non-Microsoft open source programming technologies (like Php or Java) and tools are used natively to create cloud computing solutions with the Azure Services platform.

Sumit Chawla is a Technical Program Manager / Architect in the Interoperability Technical Strategy team at Microsoft. His team is chartered with solving the toughest interoperability challenges in bridging Microsoft and non-Microsoft technologies. Prior to working on interoperability technical strategy, Sumit spent several years in the consulting world working on large scale systems integration projects and helping customers build complex enterprise solutions using Microsoft and other technologies.
A past member and manager of the Domino’s Point of Sale development team (Domino’s Pulse), design, development and deployment of the in-store software and infrastucture to enable online ordering, online store locator technology and numerous other technical contributions to the store operations. Recently, Mr Wise was a member of the Emerging Technology team at Domino’s, bring new tech into the stores and corporate office to improve operations, reduce costs and improve customer retention. He is now the manager responsible for all the design and implementation of backend services used by the Domino’s online ordering systems.
