Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions provide face to face exposure to those interested in the same projects and concepts. BoFs can be organized for individual projects or broader topics, but they are entirely up to you. We post your topic online and onsite and provide the space and time. You provide the engaging topic.

Please note that audio/visual equipment, including projection equipment, will not be available for BoF sessions. If you require any audio/visual equipment, you may request services from Event Technology Services by completing the Audio Visual Order form (PDF) and sending the form to Event Technology Services.

When and where will BoFs happen?

BoF sessions will happen at the Westin New York at Times Square (270 West 43rd Street) in the following rooms: New Amsterdam, Minskoff, Nederlander and Plymouth.

Wednesday, November 18
7:00pm – 11:00pm

How do I participate?

If you would like to lead a BoF, you can submit a proposal in advance or sign up onsite at Javits. If you submit the BoF in advance, you will receive an email confirming the date and time of your Bof as soon as it is approved. If you would like to participate in a BoF, just check the BoF Board onsite at Javits Center for the times and location and then just show up.

BoFs vs. Web2Open

BoFs provide the space and opportunity for organizations and groups to connect, network, and share ideas. Web2Open sessions are aimed to create a forum for community dialogue and discussion around topics of interest. Find out more about Web2Open.
