Gerry was previously head of search at AOL and Reuters, was with Altavista when they spun out of Compaq, and is an angel investor in and advisor to several companies in the real time space, including formerly Summize, which now powers Twitter search, and which is how Gerry came to be a shareholder in Twitter.
