Rich Internet applications have become one of the many overhyped buzzwords in the web 2.0 community and every company from Google to Microsoft seems to have a different definition of what a rich Internet application is. In this session I’ll talk briefly about the history of RIAs and then dive into the current landscape to show you how you can start using RIAs as part of your web strategy regardless of your current software infrastructure. We’ll look at examples spanning from the desktop to the mobile world and look at open source as well other solutions so you’ll get a full picture of what works best for you.
