Matt Sweeney

Matt Sweeney is a lead developer on Yahoo!s User Interface team (YUI). He is passionate about web standards and accessibility, and believes that content delivered as HTML should be accessible to all users with any browser. Originally from Michigan, Matt has lived in the Bay Area for ten years, and, as one of the original "web developers" at Yahoo!, has been driving adoption of semantic markup, CSS, and unobtrusive JavaScript for nearly five years. Matt's philosophies have helped shape the current state of YUI development, as well as Yahoo!s approach to web development as a whole.
